Interview (5min)

It is never too early to develop healthy communication skills. We want to know who you are in this season of life. Therefore, the Interview for the princess division focuses on each contestant being authentic. This interview is part of round 1 competition and happens right before they perform their piece. 


Solo  Phase Round 1

40% 

Contestant Performs solo of their choice.

The Solo may not exceed -

 1 min 30 sec.


Group Choreography Round 2

25 %  

Dancers will learn 3 genres of choreography combinations and will compete in groups.

 They will find out which piece they will perform just as they take the stage. 


Battle For the crown: Round 3

35% 

The Top finalist leave it all on the stage and compete their original solo.

  • The preregistration fee of $50 is due when your application is submitted.

Remaining Ballance of $250


 A headshot is required for your registration. 


A performance clip will be requested at a later date.


The National Competiton will be held September 2nd - 4th, 2023

in Rome Georgia.

Rules & Expectations

  • Enrolled in Public, Private, or Homeschool . ( Vocational or professional career path for all Contestants)
  • A natural-born female. A copy of the contestant's birth certificate will be shown at registration check-in.
  • Underage contestants must not smoke or use alcohol during their reign as an ambassador/titleholder and are encouraged to not engage in any form of underage activities.
  • Contestants of legal age to smoke or drink alcohol while representing The Miss Dancer America , The Haley Sue Foundation, and Thumbprint Production are required to refrain from social media posts and public engagement while wearing items or representing either organization as an ambassador.
  • Dancer America & Thumbprint Production reserves the right to use contestants' likeness for promotional content. This can be in the video, photo, and audio format.
  • National Ambassadors may also compete with various dance competition and other forms of competitions where titles are awarded. 
  • Must disclose any criminal record, felonies, or convictions of any kind. All monies paid to Dancer America & Thumbprint Production are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No refunds are provided for any reason, including, but not limited to, payments made on behalf of the contestant by advertisers and sponsors and any and all fees paid to Dancer America & Thumbprint Production by contestants, supporters, sponsors, or advertisers.
  • All checks received from contestants or supporters, sponsors, or advertisers will incur an NSF fee of $35.
  • The National Office of  Dancer America  & Thumbprint Production and the National Director, team members, agents, employees, and staff are not responsible for payments made to facilitators of state and regional competitions.
  •  Additionally, contestants and their parents agree to show sportsman-like behavior during and after the national pageant.
  • Any person(s) found in violation of this will not be allowed to compete with the Dancer America Organization and can be removed from the competition and further competitions.
  • Contestants and their parents/guardians understand and agree that judge's decisions are final, and show producers reserve the right to oversee all choices made.
  • Performers who win the national competition will be required to sign a national titleholders agreement as they will be the face of the organization. You will be able to and are encouraged to compete in similar competitions. We want our champions doing what they love!!!!
  • National ambassadors  also agree to return to the next national competition to crown their successor or defend their title.
  • All outstanding balances must be paid in full in order to compete at the competition. Contestants will not receive production wardrobe, tickets, passes, etc., until payment is made in full of any outstanding balance.
  • Contestants and their parents/guardians hereby release and forever discharge Dancer America Organization & Thumbprint Production LLC, its directors, employees, volunteers, and staff from any claims and demands arising from damages or liabilities due to theft, accident, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the Dancer America competition.
  • All contestants and their parents/guardians further covenant and agree not to sue  Dancer America & Thumbprint Production, its directors individually, employees, volunteers, or staff for any claim or damages or liability.
